Technium Team Member Spotlight: Pam Morgan, Senior Manager of Sales Operations

Pam Morgan is the Sr. Manager of Sales Operations at Technium. She has been with the company for 5 years and is responsible for developing and implementing sales processes. Pam is passionate about helping businesses grow with a security-first approach and is always looking for new ways to improve the sales process.

In this interview, Pam shares her thoughts on her time at Technium, her career journey, and what she loves about working at the company.

What are you most proud of at your time at Technium and what are you looking forward to accomplishing?

I am most proud of the Sales Operations team and building processes that help streamline certain aspects of our business. I realized processes help people come together and allow me to interact with everyone. People come to me with questions and being a manager and developing a team shows that I am valued company-wide.

Many other projects are coming off other departments' plates and moving to my department because we are trusted and have high expectations of ourselves to get things done right; I am proud of that. It shows the value we have, and I want to continue to support it.

What do you value most in a work environment?

The most important things in a work environment are culture, flexibility, and family-first. Technium supports us with this. I think Technium is an awesome place to work, they do care about your personal/professional needs and are always willing to help if you want to take a course or learn new things.

How does Technium support you in your career journey?

I was asked what career path I wanted and given an exercise to write down what I wanted to do/not do, and what I wanted to pass on so I could grow and my teammates could learn something new. After speaking about my strengths, the company helped me shift my focus so I could be happier, build a team, and make sure they had opportunities.

I asked for management training, and we did a group management training session. We also did DiSC, which I enjoyed more than I expected because I learned about myself and other managers and it created comradery.

What parts of Technium’s Just Cause do you connect with?

Technium should be proud of its Just Cause. It is a really cool thing we are a part of and that we created. We want to build the people we work with and help build the talent in the cyber security world.

Technium’s Just Cause is to provide anyone who finds joy and excitement—and a determination to learn—in the field of network security with vigorous, life-changing learning opportunities.
